About Us

Our mission at MUM’s Christian Preschool is to provide a Christian service to our local community. Age appropriate curriculum is utilized to provide the maximum social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of each child in our care. Children learn through play and structured activities in a safe, caring, Christian environment. Basic skills such as alphabet, colors, shapes and numbers will be introduced. As children progress these basic skills become the stepping stones for higher learning skills. Children will experience the essentials of learning, including observation, recognition, recall, sharing, communication and self-expression.

We believe that every child is a precious gift from God. We strive to model Christian values, teach with enthusiasm, and provide a healthy, safe, caring environment where each child can grow to his/her fullest potential.

Our facility located in the historic village of Marshallton provides a cheerful, historic and comfortable setting for classroom and play. Outdoor space is utilized for nature study, walks, and outdoor games. The historic carriage shed also provides a protected/covered space for outdoor learning activities. A fenced playground is also part of the campus facility.
